For those trying to keep up with all this craziness, here's the latest tally.
WAC - 7 teams in 2012.
Losing: Boise State, Fresno State, Nevada and Hawaii.
Gaining: UT San Antonio and Texas State.
MWC - 10 teams in 2012.
Losing: Utah, BYU and TCU.
Gaining: Boise State, Fresno State, Nevada and Hawaii.
*MWC football will be just fine, while the WAC is struggling on life support.

The University of Denver, Seattle University and UT Arlington have been added to the WAC for basketball and other sports beginning in the fall of 2012. *But since none of those three schools have football programs, the WAC is stuck with a 7 team football conference for the 2012 season.
